Triumph in New Haven: The Story of Duke Thornton and Amelia Sharpe

Accused of a crime he didn’t commit but vindicated shortly after, Deputy Police Captain Duke Thornton of the downtown Boston Precinct decides to leave town for a while. Following up on an invitation by a friend from the west, he heads for New Haven.

Amelia Sharpe is engaged but realizes that she can’t marry her fiancé. Because of the kind of man he is, she decides that leaving town is the safest thing to do. Leaving New York to go west, she soon finds her heart’s desire and love.
But when the past comes calling, can Duke and Amelia hold onto love and triumph?
