When Widow Bauman and her handsome son Daniel are welcomed into the community, Sarah learns that the widow’s daughter ran away from their former community in Canada with an Englisch man.Sarah is horrified to think that her own longings might lead her down the same path, and one day she confesses as much to Daniel.
